Yes, Mithra was born of a voigin. An inscription at a temple in Kangavar, western Iran, says, "Anahita, the Immaculate Virgin Mother of the Lord Mithras." This has been dated to around 200 BCE. Another tradition has it that he emerged as an adult from a rock, but if you haven't heard about the voigin thing, it shows you don't know much about Mithra.

Are you saying the Romans didn't celebrate the religious festival of Saturnalia in late December way before the supposed birth of Jesus? Sorry, but this is a very poorly researched article which just repeats various untruths and inaccuracies. Mithras born of a virgin? Seriously?

Here's a challenge. Find one concrete piece of evidence of the Romans celebrating a religious festival on December 25th before Christmas was celebrated on that date. Easy right?

Hanukkah actually has nothing to do with Christmas and the fact it coincides with Christmas is mere coincidence.
