Sandy Island location

If you were a fan of the show Lost then this news probably you all giddy like a school girl. A few weeks back it was reported that a group of scientists decided to take a trip to a small 60 square mile island in the south Pacific called Sandy Island or Sable Island depending on which map you were looking at. Supposedly though, it’s not there and there is no sign that it was ever there. Unless you have a sailing vessel of your own you can only take them at their word and as one of the mottos of the conspiracy theory world go, ‘trust no one’. “They” may want us to believe that the island is not there so they can use it for their nefarious purposes. Perhaps their alien cohorts plan to use it for experiments on us.

Recently another player in the game has come forward to help validate the claim saying that it seems the discovery was first made by a whaling ship called the Velocity and that perhaps they only “thought they saw an island or reef” though there is no sign of anything like that in the area. Or perhaps all these people are innocent and actually the government made land mass that they moved so it would not be discovered. There is also the theory that a parallel universe has temporal resonance with our own. There are many different possibilities as to why the island isn’t there or is but only to those privy to that information.

It is also possible that this is just all one big mistake and there really is no island and never was an island and we are all just a bunch of crazy people…..LOL, no, that’s just silly talk. Something strange is totally up with this island.

To find it in Google maps you can’t just type in Sandy or Sable Island, that gives you island along the northern edge of Australia. To find it look for New Caledonia then look up just a bit and to the left to see the small, oblong island. If you try to go in closer it disappears but if you switch to satellite it becomes a small, scary, oblong island that is black. Or blacked out.

On October 30, a controversial video showing a shadowy figure that appeared to be a very large creature appeared on YouTube. “Beard Card” and his family were camping in the Provo Canyon when they thought they saw a bear. The man, who has refused to use his real name, posted the video to the video on YouTube.

When questioned he said that he and his family were unsure if it was actually Bigfoot but that they were definitely frightened by the manlike animal. They quickly fled the area and did not get a clear view of the creature. The video has gotten many different reactions from viewers. Many think that he should have stayed and captured a better image of the creature. Others say that he he has added fuel to the Bigfoot myth.

In the midst of the Bigfoot controversy, Spike TV is creating a new reality show. Ten million dollars will go to the person or group that can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Bigfoot exists. Producers have yet to decide exactly what will be considered unrefutable proof of Bigfoots existence.

Spike TV and Lloyds of London are expecting the top researchers, cryptozoologists, zoologists, and Bigfoot hunters in the world to take this chance to search for Bigfoot. Groups are currently being put together for this new reality show. They will scatter across different states in the U.S. and use various techniques in their quest for Bigfoot. The reward being offered by Spike TV is the largest in the history of reality tv.

Will anyone find Bigfoot after all this time? Spike TV and Lloyds of London are betting $10 million dollars that someone do just that. This exciting new reality show is set to begin in 2013.

The Great Sphinx of Giza – enjoy it while you can.

The Sphinx. Always watching, always waiting. Ready to pounce on civilization at any moment. It is a threat and on that must be taken down now while there is still time. Or at least that is how a man by the name of Murgan Salem al-Gohary feels. He believes they are false idols and must be destroyed. But is this the real story? al-Gohary is a well-known Jihadist leader that was sentenced under President Hosni Mubarak, one of those being a life sentence but was released by a judicial ruling after the fall of Mubarak in early 2011. And now here he is calling for the demolition of The Sphinx as well as the Giza Pyramids. Sounds like the makings of a great scapegoat but who would want these relics demolished and why?

In 2009 a British explore claimed to have found hidden tunnels and caves beneath the Giza Pyramids. He discovered them after reading memoirs from a 19^th century diplomat and explore that had long been forgotten. Could someone be trying to hide what is down there? Could the demolition of the pyramids and the Sphinx merely be a ploy to achieve that end? Or could it be just the opposite? Perhaps someone is trying to find something and removing these objects would make things easier.  It is believed that beneath the Sphinx lies the Hall of Records which contains knowledge of the Egyptians and information about the lost continent of Atlantis.

This is not the first run-in the Great Sphinx of Giza has had with someone of the Muslim faith. The Sphinx missing noise is said to have been taken off by Muhammad Sa’im al-Dahr, a Sufi Muslim, in 1378 AD after finding peasants making offerings to the Sphinx to increase their harvest.  Muhammad Sa’im al-Dahr was hanged for vandalism.

The hour is late. You stand in the type of darkness that only living next door to the middle of nowhere can provide, the only movement is the dog at your feet. Suddenly from out of the darkness, not far away, there comes a sound that is loud, threatening and nearly indescribable. You and your dog are frozen in place but only for a moment then you and your dog make a mad dash for your front door, locking it behind you and not looking back. What was it that threatened you from the darkness? Supposedly it was the Ohio Grassman. (True story)

The Ohio Grassman is an ape-like creature reportedly seen throughout the state of Ohio. There are varying reports on the height of the creature. Some say 4-8 feet tall while others say 7-9. It has reddish-brown shaggy fur or hair covering its entire body. It is said to have very broad shoulders and be very muscular, weighing between 300 and 1,000 pounds. The description is similar to that of Bigfoot; however, there are reported differences in the habits of the two which lead people to believe that they are not the same creature but perhaps a relative.  The Ohio Grassman seems to be more social than Bigfoot as the Grassman has been seen traveling in groups.  Also, the creature may dwell in caves but there is also evidence that it builds primitive dwellings from what building material it can gather from the forest.

Supposedly there have been Grassman sightings going as far back as the early European settlers. One early account from 1869 claims that in Gallia County a man and his daughter were attacked by a large wild beast with burning eyes with a body covered in hair.

The Ohio Grassman has been spotted across the state of Ohio but is primarily seen in the Eastern portion. There have also been sightings in Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

“The Americans have lots of these in Nevada – Area 51!”, exclaims Tim Ripley, a defense expert at Jane’s Defense Weekly, a military analysis group.

Is it really another Area 51?

If ‘Area 51′ is a general term for a secret air force base located in the desert, then yes, this newly discovered site is a Chinese Area 51.

But unlike its U.S. counterpart, there is no alleged alien spacecraft technology in use. The shapes and marks in the ground are typical of man-made missile blast sites. The white lines are likely to be winding roads meant to imitate city streets for missile testing.

What is China hiding?

China is hiding its newest military technology, the same which is done for every country.

What strange and revolutionary technology is the country producing?

Some fear that China is making advanced technological weapons for the purpose of disabling world satellites and defenses. In reality, China is likely reverse-engineering already existing technologies.

China has a history of obtaining and copying foreign technology. Just in January, China copied parts from a downed U.S. jet to produce a stealth fighter.

Reverse-engineering has become so rampant in the country that there is a new term for it: the Chinese wall, which Wikipedia refers to as:

A reverse engineering method involving two separate groups. One group reverse-engineers the original code and writes thorough documentation, while the other group writes new code based only on the new documentation. This method insulates the new code from the old code, so that it will not be considered a derived work.

One team figures out how it works, the other team replaces original parts with similar parts to produce an almost identical result.

No matter its true purpose, whether it be military testing or a giant game of hopscotch, it’s certain the world will be watching the area with interest and curiosity.

Penn State riots caused by unfair price increases, not coach firings.

News networks say the Penn State riots are backlash for firing of football coach Jerry Sandusky, but the real reason is more serious: American students are growing restless of rising tuition costs coupled with lowered job prospects.

In July, Penn State trustees voted without dissent for an increase in tuition at a rate of 4.9% for in-state undergrads, 3.5% for out-of-state, and 2.9% for everyone else for the 2011-2012 academic year.

While Penn State board members vote tuition rates up, graduate job opportunities go down. Students are leaving college with 4 years of time spent and thousands in debt only to find find the job well dry.

Debt if You Do, Sweat if You Don’t

Society puts our youth in a tough spot; either they go into debt pursuing a degree that may get them a job, or they work 40 hours a week (if they’re lucky to get that much time) at McDonald’s.

At the same time students can’t find a job, their hard-working parents are getting laid off and struggling to pay bills. Students know their families are sacrificing everything to send them to college.

That’s why it’s easy to understand the Penn State riots are a release of built-up frustration against the university and society. Just as British students rioted because of increased tuition last December, American students are doing the same.

The firing of a coach? Please, that’s only what they want you to think.

HAARP stands for High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program, and it is funded in collaboration with the U.S. Air Force, Navy, University of Alaska, and DARPA. Its function is to analyze the ionosphere and investigate the potential for developing ionospheric enhancement technology for radio communications and surveillance purposes. If that sounds fishy to you, it does to us too. The program is a hotbed for conspiracy theories. But the latest data and graphs released by the U.S. Geological Survey show that one of the leading conspiracies, that HAARP causes earthquakes, may be true.

According to this graph, there has been a dramatic increase in the amount of earthquakes taking place since the 90′s. Coincidentally, around the same time we see this initial rise in earthquakes is the same time HAARP went into operation.

The manipulation of weather and natural disaster is a big concern for safety advocates and people around the world. Defense officials have admitted that they themselves fear eco-terrorism, with former Defense Secretary William S. Cohen saying, “Others are engaging … in an eco-type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, [and] volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves.”

The admission by Cohen says a lot about the current state of affairs. For one, it proves that weather manipulation technology is possible. And two, since it is possible it makes sense that in the name of war and national security the United States and other powerful nations would want to exploit it to their advantage.

Weather as the ultimate stealth weapon

States will do anything to ensure their success and survival. Near the end of World War 2, the U.S. developed a terribly powerful weapon, the A-Bomb. The weapon is incredibly effective in its purpose: the killing of tens of thousands of enemies at little risk to the attacking army. Following Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the bomb had been banned from worldwide use in part because of its easy identification. We have all seen footage of mushroom-clouds, when an A-Bomb is dropped, there is no doubt that the bomb dropped was an A-Bomb. The state responsible for its use would receive a backlash from the international community at the least, and assured destruction at the most, so the bomb is no longer favored. But, if a stealth weapon could be developed that achieves the same result while taking the blame off the attacker, the device would prove invaluable. There would be no backlash, no counter-attack, no negative consequences.

Weather manipulation technology is the ideal stealth weapon, and it’s easy to see why the U.S. and other nations would want to develop it. As long as the existence of the technology remains hidden, the death of enemy nations can be excused as an act of God.

I’ve worked in ten countries, importing cannabis to every one of ‘em.

At one point, I was working in IT for Ford in Cologne. I was paid GBP600/USD972/EUR683/UAH7,679 a day and was rich and miserable. Now I’m an English teacher and dirt poor, but much happier. David Icke said that George Washington sparked off the French and Indian War, which sparked off the American Revolutionary War. That turned out to be true. He also said that people would shelter in Cologne’s Ford plant during the war because they knew it wouldn’t be bombed. The project manager at Ford confirmed it. I considered Icke to be a prophet until I found out that the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion, to which he referred often, were a load of bullshit.

I was flying back to the United Kingdom almost every weekend. Once, I went through security at Heathrow with a rather large blob of hashish in my wallet. I put the wallet on a tray while I went through the metal detector. The lady standing nearby said she’d better take a look at my wallet. She opened it, and said large blob of hash stared back at her. She ejaculated: “Oh! Stone!”, put the wallet back and said nothing further.

So I started to put the dope in my sock. I once went through the metal detector, and my chunky belt set it off. Aieee!!! The security guy frisked me. He squeezed the toe of my shoe, and must have felt the hash. He gave me a funny look, but let me go.

Another time, I was sitting on the platform at Paddington Station waiting for the Heathrow Express. Smoking was permitted back then, so I had a J. A policeman emerged from the far end of the platform (from which I’d never seen anybody emerge, ever). I was sitting on the ground, and tried to conceal the joint under my leg. He approached me and asked if I was waiting for this train. Oh yes, I replied.

"Wozzat, then?"

“Wozzat, then?”, he said, pointing at my joint (I can do the accent; it’s dead funny).

“Oh, it’s ginseng”

Back when I got busted for carrying dope on a train in France in 1989, I had commercial ginseng ciggies, and it was pointed out to me that the picture of ginseng on the packet looked just like good ole’ cannabis sativa, so this was actually quite clever.

“Wozzat?”

“Oh, it’s herbal.”

“Smews a bit funny, thassol.” (“Smells a bit funny, that’s all.”)

The flatfoot told me that if I continued my current course of action, I could probably look forward to being stopped some more by officers of the law.

“Oh, that’s alright,” said I, “I’m almost finished.”

He walked away with a big smile on his face, obviously knowing full well that the drug war has been lost.

I now work in the Czech Republic. In 2009, I spent GBP140/USD220/EUR161/KZT2,107 on dope in London just before Christmas. So how to get it through security? I worry that it would show up under Röntgen rays, meaning I couldn’t just leave it in my side luggage. So the plan was to put it in my pocket and not wear a chunky belt, but then the Undie-Bomber did his thang, and everything went a little crazy. I heard that they were frisking everyone, so I had to come up with a new plan.

I briefly considered storing my drugs here.

For a while, I considered a solution of “alimentary, Dear Watson,” eventually deciding against it because my anus wasn’t designed for two-way traffic.

So in my sock it went again, but this time under my toes. I had to take my shoes off at security, which hadn’t happened for a while, but that wasn’t a problem. I didn’t even walk funny.

Did I ever get into trouble for smuggling so much dope through airports? OK, so I did, just the once. I was suicidally stupid.

I had got into the habit of always having a J before flying, in the toilet of London City Airport. Heathrow has a zillion toilets, while London City has just one. I did this a few times, before finding two Customs guys waiting at the entrance to the gate. They searched me. One of the guys remarked: “He even smews ovvi’!” (“He even smells of it!”)

The dope was in my wallet. One guy looked through the wallet but missed the dope. On his second pass, he found it. I exclaimed, “We have a winner!” and got busted. One of the guys was somewhat rude to me until they were sure I was carrying no other drugs, when he lightened up a bit. After that, we were all quite friendly. One guy told how he’d been done for speeding, and I pointed out that, unlike me, he could have killed someone. I received a caution, which doesn’t have to be disclosed when applying for a US visa, so I’m not worried.

There! That was the kind of airplane they had!

I was fined GBP80/USD124/EUR98/BWP833 and missed my flight. I got one the next day. I was using a shitty, Eastern European, regional airline with about two ‘planes which I think were Dakotas, so I always saw the same people. They gave me very dirty looks.

I take my cannabis very seriously. When I lived in Bangkok, I spent THB2,000 (GBP41/USD66/EUR47/AFN3,135) a month on the stuff, which was a significant chunk of my salary. Colleagues lived in palatial apartments, but I spent my last ten months in a cheapo hotel which cost a couple of dollars a night, around the corner from the Khao San Road tourist Mecca.

Once, I was having a manicure a few doors down, and the lady asked where I lived. “Oh,” I said, “In the Merry V Guest House over there.” She knew I was a teacher and was shocked.

My room featured no electrical socket, and my window looked out onto a corridor. A friend who visited my tiny room said I was living in a “hellhole,” but I was quite happy. In all the time I was there, there was one night when there was an endlessly screaming baby (in high density accommodation; the parents were imbeciles) and once I had to ask a guy to turn his music down.

Khao San Road

In Bangkok, I bought weed at the Harley Bar, off Khao San Road. The first time I went there, a colleague had told me where to go, but I missed it – the entrance I’d been told about was down a street by the side of a bank that looks like a dead end. I asked a motorcycle taxi driver if he knew it, and he said he’d worked there for five years, but hadn’t heard of it. Another said he’d worked there for ten, and didn’t know it. It turned out to be on a narrow, hidden side street parallel to Khao San.

As for motorcycle taxis – technically, they were scooters – both Thais and farangs told me they would never, ever get one for safety reasons, but I got them all the time. Once, I opened the door of a taxi cab to make an exit, and one of these guys drove into it at a fair speed. He went flying, but school was starting shortly so I didn’t hang around. Other people came to help. I think.

When it comes to having a joint before boarding a ‘plane, it’s best to do it before you go airside. We have the example above, for starters. Smoking in the restroom of a huge airport is perhaps an option, but I always fear I will be caught. I once had a J. in the john of a teeny regional airport in Germany, and received funny looks from the staff of the restaurant where I customarily dined forever more (until I got busted and used a different airport). I once had a joint at Heathrow at the place where the bus leaves to go to other terminals, but every other time I tried it there were people around.

When the time came to depart Bangkok, I arrived at the airport hours early. I’m terrified of missing my ‘plane, so I overcompensate something awful. I went airside, and didn’t fancy lighting up in a smoking lounge, so I had no dope for hours.

Restless leg syndrome is a neurological disorder, where a person experiences an uncomfortable sensation in their limbs, which they are compelled to move. This sensation has been described as numbness, ants inside the leg, creepy-crawly, pulling, pins and needles, itching, pain, creeping, electrical, and “antsy.” If the limb is not moved voluntarily, a spasm results. I used to get this in my legs when I came off dope. It would always be around 4 a.m, which was not good for sleep. I remember at least once I was in a poor state at work the next day. I didn’t know what the condition was until I read about it in the Enquirer.

On the ‘plane from Bangkok, after so many hours without drugs, I experienced this condition. The German lady sitting next to me noticed, and said, “Oh! You have a restless leg!” I told her it was because I’d been deprived of cannabis, but she didn’t understand.

Anyway, while Thai grass is a powerful brandname in the West, the grass I bought at the Harley Bar was crap. I wonder if they export the good stuff and only sell shit at home.

Where I buy my drugs in London

In London, I buy my substances in Notting Hill. In the movie of the same name, Hugh Grant walked down Portobello Road and turned left to get to his house. It was painted blue, I think, and was quite distinctive, but after featuring in a blockbuster movie it has since been painted a horrid yellow.

If Hugh had gone further down Portobello, on the left would have been “de bettin’ shap,” where I purchase recreational drugs from a delightful old Afro-Caribbean guy. Further still and on the right you get the crack dealers. My contact wasn’t around when I went to Portobello after returning from Bangkok, so I went to another bettin’ shap and dealt with some other guy who was, needless to say, black as de night. Reverently, he said, “It’s Thai grass!”

It is very strange for such exotic and rare animals to be brought living together in such an empty and sparsely inhabited area as Ohio. The farm was an undercover lab that was on U.S. soil in a remote location that could easily be protected in case anyone did any snooping on their secret plans.

Wild animals a front for the drug racket

Another theory is that letting the animals loose was a distraction for a drug crime involving the owner. The mob that he owed faked his suicide and went on to release the animals for an easy escape.

Animals were raised for the Elite’s entertainment

A third theory is that the animals were being raised for Roman coliseum-type events and that PETA killed the owner and set the animals free in an attempt to free the animals from cruelty.

Animals were eaten in Eastern medicine rituals

Still another likely theory is that the animals were being grown for their parts; to be used in ancient Eastern medicine. Many tribes in the South East believe that whatever is eaten transfers that power or ability into their own bodies, so for example eating a cheetah’s heart would give them the ability to run faster.

Why does Denver International Airport have such a bizarre number of myths? Let’s check out some of the facts and see the perils of traveling there.

Death by Mustang

The Mustang is a famous sculpture at the airport by Luis Jiménez. A 32 foot tall beast with red shining eyes, its unlucky reputation was cemented when the head fell and severed an artery in the artist’s leg just after finishing the job.

Devil Worship

The large number of phallic symbols and murals in Denver Airport aren’t there purely to amuse and titillate the exhausted air traveler. They are placed to accustom the public to devil worship.

Home of the New World Order

People say the airport is shaped like a swastika; it has strange words engraved on the walls and floors, and there are secret underground dungeons!

But let’s look again. There is no logical reason for the unusual shape of the place, but when viewed on Google Maps, I don’t exactly see a swastika. The mysterious writing is Navajo, not Nazi. The art is to show the hope of society living in a peaceful future. The famous underground chambers are said to be for transporting baggage.

These explanations seem reasonable enough, but if an organization were to build torture chambers under a busy airport, they would at least use the simple excuse that they were to move luggage about, wouldn’t they?

The Verdict

To me it’s just an airport with some unusual art and an awkward design, but I won’t be flying to Denver anytime soon…just in case.
